      Hi, I'm Shaun Nelms—author, publisher, motocross enthusiast, and the creator of Nelmgerian MX.

      I started Nelmgerian MX with one simple goal: to inspire kids to read, learn, and dream through the exciting world of motocross. As a lifelong rider, I've seen firsthand how dirt bikes teach perseverance, responsibility, confidence, and sportsmanship. I wanted to bring those same values into children's books that families could enjoy together.

Today's children have countless digital distractions competing for their attention. My hope is that every Nelmgerian MX book encourages young readers to put down the screens, open a book, spend time with their families, and get outside to create adventures of their own.

      Growing up, motocross wasn't just a sport—it was a way of life. It taught me that success comes from practice, hard work, determination, and getting back up after every fall.

Those lessons became the foundation for every story I write.

Whether Ryder is lining up for his first motocross race, making new friends, learning important reading skills, or helping others discover the joy of riding, each story is designed to entertain while building confidence and character.

      One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been creating books that families can enjoy together.

      The Nelmgerian MX Learn-to-Read Series was inspired and developed with educational guidance from my daughter, Kylie Carpenter, a first-grade teacher. Together, we've combined proven phonics instruction with exciting motocross adventures to help beginning readers build confidence while having fun.

     This is only the beginning.

      My vision is for Nelmgerian MX to become the leading destination for motocross-themed children's books, educational resources, and family-friendly products. Beyond publishing, I hope to continue expanding opportunities that bring families together through riding, reading, and outdoor adventure.
